My name is Rasmus Dyhrberg, I am an amateur photographer and have always enjoyed photographing primarily nature, but also my two kids who you will se again and again in the gallery.

In my youth I had different compact cameras. I bought my first SLR camera in Thailand in 2000 a Nikon F3 with a kit lens. My first digital camera was a Pentax Optio S compact camera which I bought just before travelling to South America in Summer 2003. My first DSLR was D80 with a kit lens which I bought on sale in London Gatwick Airport in 2007. In spring 2014 I upgraded this to a Nikon D7100 with a kit lens. Durring the years I have added a 90 mm Tamron Macro lens and a Nikon 50 mm 1.4 lens to the Collection.

Through the Years I have always had the philosophy that editing is cheating. Therefore, I have never used any form of editing software such as Photoshop. Until the Winter 2014 where i recognized that using software like Lightroom is actually similar to what was done in the darkroom in the old days with film cameras. I bought Lightroom and a new World within photography opened up. The hotos you see on this site has been through Lightroom, some just to fix the exposure others to add contrast, correct white balance etc.
